Word Art Explanation
This image relates to new media as the base outline is similar to the globe shape that the internet is often depicted as. The affect of internet and newer forms of media effected the world internationally which is why I believe this is the case. A mouse cursor also appears in the bottom left, a recognizable symbol for navigating yourself on a computer, one of the best ways to access the internet.
